Release Notes

x64 Version only right now, future releases will be either x64 or x86. Work in progress, as this was to show it can work.

This is meant to be used with X-Mouse Button Control.
  • So first, install X-Mouse Button Control.
  • Extract and Run as Administrator the XMouseMSTM.exe File. There is no Gui or options just yet, as thats still a work in progress. Also take a look at the XMouseTriggerLocation.jpg file for where the Control Point is on the Touch Mouse.
  • Next, open X-Mouse Button Control -> Settings ->Modifier Keys -> Activate Layer 2 and click on the Box to the right (saying "None").
  • Now place a finger on the Control Point on the MS Touch Mouse. The Box should now be Blank ("") instead of saying none. If so, then hit okay.
  • Now go to the (Default) Layer 2 Tab and for the Right Click, select Middle Click from the drop box.
  • Hit Apply and OK.

Now you should have a Middle Click on the MS Touch Mouse by simply pressing the Control Point. You can further customize things further for Mouse Button 4 (Thumb Swipe Down) and Mouse Button 5 (Thumb Swipe Up) to have different actions while you have a finger covering the control point. Or even a different Left Click action.
Note: Do not alter the Scroll Up and Scroll Down with this control point as it is placed in the center of the mouse where most people scroll, thus would accidentally and briefly change what the scrolling would do much to everyone's displeasure.

Upcoming Features:
  • x64 & x86 releases
  • Gui with customizable Control Points, so you can place them where you wish.
  • Potentially a Touch Right Mouse Button located at the top of the MS Touch Mouse surface (Chording capability).
